The Outer Banks offers something for everyone. Sure it’s a wind sport-enthusiast’s paradise, but take a closer look and you will find much more:

Kayaking
Choose from our fleet of rental boats and head out for a peaceful getaway exploring the nooks and crannies of Pamlico Sound. Pack a lunch, bring some water and a camera, and paddle off into your own slice of serenity (exercise optional)!

Sailing 
Ocean Air has two identically outfitted Hobie Catamarans. Sailing is a great way to catch the breeze and challenge your skills (or just kick back and have fun) on the not-so-high seas of Pamlico Sound. These boats are easy to sail, even for the novice.

Surfing
Rent a surfboard and catch some waves. Hatteras is a major destination for surfers from all across the US. OAS rents easy-to-ride fun shapes and longboards for performance or learning.

Wave runners
Need an adrenaline fix? Our brand new Yamaha 4 Stroke Wave runners are a throttle-junkies dream. Rent one of these bad-boys and tear up the Sound. Come on, you know you’ve always wanted to!

Fishing

Bird watching
Hatteras is a major destination for migratory birds, and is also home to scores of shorebirds. Bring your binoculars, camera and field guide, and explore Pea Island Wildlife Refuge.

Lighthouse Tours
Corolla Light, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, and Ocracoke Lighthouse are all within reach.
