For 2009 the North Ice remains as North's world cup wave sail. What does that mean? Well, it means that if you are on the world tour this is the sail you want to rip it up in the waves. Not on the world tour? We aren't either. But this is our go to sail for waves, bump and jump, and just all around windsurfing in high winds. New for this year: Reduced foot profile for improved handling, less nervousness and better pumping thanks to the reduced sail foil tension. Tons of wind range and easy handling are the critical features of this sail.

The 2009 Ice keeps all the perfection that the 2008 had and adds a bit more range. I use the Ice from 3.7 to 5.3 and these sails are sweet! Whether it's down the line waves, on shore waves, flat water blasting or going crazy with freestyle, the Ice does it all. The 2009 sails are a little softer feeling than last year and I really like it. There's a real feeling of the power being locked in, yet you can dump the power and make the sail go neutral so easily. The Ice has always been my favorite sail and it just keeps getting better.
