Australia has some of the best wavesailing, and windsurfing in general, in the world. Now we have a DVD full of major action from all over Australia. On the heels of majorly sponsored productions like The Windsurfing Movie and Four Dimensions, this film is a throwback to the hardcore days of just getting out there and doing it. A must-have if you are interested at all in Australian windsurfing.
The Wizards of Oz showcases the stand-out riders from Terra Australis. some of them you already know - some you probably wont. The Wizards of Oz are young guns, speed guns, legends, designers, and movie-makers who individually create their own kind of magic down under.
"It has been 10 years or more since a dedicated Australian windsurfing movie has been released - and considering the talent and action on this disc, many riders, hopefully, should be left wondering why." says producer Matt Holder. "The concept of this project was to capture the culture of windsurfing in Australia - so you won't see a lot of freestyle. The rest of the world has covered that nicely." he adds.
Riders include Scott McKercher (of course), Boujmaa Guilloul, Chris Lockwood, ty Bodycoat, Jaeger Stone, Jamie Cobill, Ben Severne, John Marshall, and Matt Holder.
