The '07 JP Freestyle Wave 102 is the most comfortable board I have ever ridden. It is almost impossible for me to categorize this board: it doesn't knock you around like a freestyle board yet pops off flatwater in 17mph (5.9 excess); it quickly slides onto a plane, unlike a wave board, yet is still feels loose and responsive; it carves in and out of turns and blasts like the perfect freerider. It is so so good.
Old-schoolers will love its slightly narrower profile, although this board actually carves through tacks and gybes, unlike their old seatrend or pro-tech slalom board. It will ride front or back-foot dominant, and it will slash or smoothly carve through any type of gybe.
The PERFECT board for intermediate to professional-level riders looking for a board to fit a quiver from 5.0-7.4 (couple it with the NeilPryde Excess!)

Like all good slalom boards, the '07 Mistral SL is super-fast and extremely stiff and light weight. Unlike many other slalom boards, however, the SL is an absolute blast to ride. Even though it is extremely fast, it gybes wonderfully and just eats up chop. Say goodbye to sore knees! For the windsurfer who just wants to be the fastest man/woman out there, this board is worth more than every penny!

Please don't pinch me,Please don't pinch me,Please don't pinch me. This was the thought going through my head, as my first ride on my new 84 ltr Syncro Style RD was a dream I did not want to wake up from. I was sailing it with my 4.2 in flat water and later on in chest high side on waves.

It did everything perfect. It's just as good in the waves as last years version which is pretty darn good. This year it will also do wonders as your high wind freestyle board. It slides as effortlessly as it jibes. It also planes up in a heartbeat. There was not one second that the board was in any way out of control in the overpowering 4.2 conditions.

The deck is slightly domed under the back foot for maximum comfort and rider input. The RD (lightweight) version was definitely worth the extra money.

If you're looking for an onshore wave/bump and jump board, or something to compliment your larger freestyle board like the Mistral Joker, this is the board for you.

I use the 2008 Joker from 4.7 to 6.9 sails in flat water and small waves. The first thing I noticed different about the 08 from the 07 aside from its sexy new paint job was its new deck shape. The second I stepped on it, I noticed that it was much more comfortable under foot. It took a little getting used to during the out of the strap transitions like duck tacks and donkey jibes, but once I got used to the deck shape I was loving life.

This board slides like a dream. There wasn't even a hint of the rail grab during any sliding trick. It also mantains speed better through jibes and going into tricks that you need to carve into like ponches and shakas.

The new Joker planes up just as ealry as last years which always had me on a 4.7 when most guys were on mid 5's and had me on my 5.9 when everyone else had to break out the big slalom gear.

This is a board not just for a serious freestyler who wants to push the limits, it will also work great for someone looking be the first one planning and just cruising back and forth.

You can't go wrong with the 2008 Joker!!!

The "surf was up" and I managed to sneak out for a couple of hrs today (I HAD to do it!) I can't get over how this board takes off! It's a whole new experience for me. I think I'm in love!
